Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of internal locus of control, motivation, perceived return and perceived risk on investment decisions in the Islamic capital market. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire distributed online. The population of the Kudus Beginner Stock Investor Community is 500 investors. The sampling technique in this quantitative research used a purposive sampling method. In determining the size of the sample using the slovin formula, 85 samples were obtained from the total population. The method used is multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS software. The results of this study indicate that internal locus of control, motivation, perceived return and perceived risk have a positive effect on investment decisions in the Kudus Beginner Stock Investor Community.
