Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of interesting media during learning activities. This makes some students have low learning motivation, and the monotonous material is not associated with character values; besides, it looks lacking environmental care attitude in students. From these problems, researchers developed media such as Pop-up books integrated with Islamic values and Pancasila to foster motivation and attitudes to care for the environment. This research aims to motivate students in learning and instill an environmental care attitude integrated with Islamic values and Pancasila. This research uses Research and Development (R&D) methods using the ADDIE model (Analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). Type of research method pre-experimental design (nondesign) one group pretest-postest with non-parametric. This type of research uses a combined Mix Method of quantitative and qualitative research. The study subjects were 21 grade IV students of MIN 4 Madiun. Data collection techniques consist of observations, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques validity and reliability test, normality test, homogeneity test, sign test, and Wilcoxon signed-rank test with the help of SPSS calculation version 23 For Windows. The results of this study show that a product has been produced in the form of a Pop-up Media book integrated with Islamic values and Pancasila for grade IV students. In addition, the acquisition of material expert validation product feasibility averaged 95.5%, language validation 88.6%, and Media Validation 95.4%. Meanwhile, the assessment of teacher responses was obtained 88.3%. The assessment of students' responses to the media obtained a score of 95.8%. So it can be concluded that this Pop-up book media is worth using. Sign test and Wilcoxon signed-rank test are used to determine the influence of Pop-up book media on motivation and environmental care attitudes. At the same time, the results are good influences on student motivation and environmental care attitude.
