Abstract

Observations on the implementation of the 2021 and 2022 National Assessments in 3 Elementary Schools in Banda Aceh found various problems, from the lack of information on the national assessment to parents and students, the unavailability of lab rooms and computers. In fact, the staff still don't understand the national assessment, so when there are problems, such as a school having to go to another school to take part in the national assessment, staff are borrowed from other schools. Therefore, it is necessary to manage supporting resources in implementing the national assessment of elementary schools in Banda Aceh with the aim of knowing staff management, knowing the availability and management of information, knowing budget management and knowing the management of facilities and infrastructure for implementing the National Assessment of elementary schools in Banda Aceh City. This study uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach with the subject of this research is the principal of the school with data collection methods using interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis used four steps, namely: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusion/verification and validity testing using source triangulation, technique and time triangulation. The results of the study show: First, staff governance is carried out well, namely from the importance of qualifications and good work performance such as responsibility, obedience, cooperation, high integrity, supported by coaching, supervision and work motivation. Second, the availability and management of information on the implementation of the national assessment is carried out well from easy access to information through complete disclosure of data so that communication, coordination and participation of parents are built so that the legitimacy of the national assessment is clear. Third, budget management is carried out in a planned and directed manner from budget sources that are clearly well managed and budget allocations are appropriate and there is responsibility for making reports on the use of the budget that has been used in implementing the national assessment of elementary schools in Banda Aceh City. Fourth, for the management of facilities and infrastructure for the implementation of the national assessment, it is sufficient, from the existence of school buildings with comfortable classrooms for learning and equipped with supporting facilities that support the implementation of the national assessment of elementary schools in Banda Aceh. Therefore, with good management of supporting resources for the implementation of the national assessment of elementary schools in Banda Aceh City and in accordance with the goals and expectations, unwanted things will not occur in the implementation of the national assessment in the following years.
