Abstract

The pandemic hit the economy of Bali Province so that the GRDP figure even reached minus numbers in 2021. This was mainly due to the income of the Province of Bali which was dominated by the tourism industry. In order to prevent the same thing from happening again, the Province of Bali must also strengthen its income from product-based industries. Product-based industries that are easy to find and have many broad benefits even in remote areas are MSMEs. The many benefits generated by MSMEs make it necessary to be empowered. This study aims to empower the MSMEs by determine the standard time for MSME production, improve work techniques in MSME, and increase the productivity and daily output of MSME. All the datas that has been collected directly from SMEs will be processed through analysis of time study, motion study, predetermined motion & time studies, and productivity analysis. Based on the research conducted, it can be seen that the standard time required is 4964,03 s before improving the work techniques and 4320,95 s after improving the work techniques. Furthermore, work techniques that are improved based on the principle of movement economy are the placement of work tools which must always be in the same place, the material outreach process which can be combined with the pouring process into the mixer, and reducing caution in operating processes that do not require high precision. Meanwhile, productivity increased by 3 unit per hour and daily output after repairs increased by 13 units per day after the improvement.
