Abstract

This research aims to determine whether there is an influence of the intensity of accessing the Instagram account @terasdakwah on the motivation to become a Dai among Yogyakarta students. The theory used in this research is the media effects theory. This research is quantitative in nature, employing a data collection technique using a questionnaire answered by 100 respondents who are followers of the Instagram account @terasdakwah. Data processing for this research is aided by the IBM SPSS Stastistic 15 application. The results of this research indicate that the intensity of accessing the Instagram account has an influence on the behavior of health-conscious followers in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY). Based on the results of hypothesis testing, a significant value of 0.00 < 0.05 is obtained, indicating that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. This means that there is an influence between the two variables, X and Y.
