Abstract

One of the efforts that can be made to preserve animals is to study the behavior of these animals. Parenting behavior is closely related to all physiological activities, which is an essential part of foraging. In this study, researchers focused on researching parenting behavior of crested goshawk on saplings. This study aims to (1) determine the parenting behavior of the crested goshawk, (2) know the process of making a booklet and (3) find out the feasibility level of the booklet of the parenting behavior of the crested goshawk. This research was carried out in 2 stages, namely research on parenting behavior of crested goshawk and booklet feasibility test research. The feasibility level of the Booklet of Parenting Behavior of Crested Goshawk Towards Saplings in Jatimulyo Village was assessed by 1 subject expert, 1 media expert, 1 practitioner lecturer and 15 students of Biology Education UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta using a checklist questionnaire sheet. The assessment results in the form of quantitative data (category values) are then analyzed with a Likert scale to determine the quality of booklet products. Based on the results of the assessment obtained, the assessment of subject experts with a percentage of eligibility of 100% is included in the very feasible category, the assessment by media experts with a percentage of eligibility of 94% is included in the very feasible category, the assessment of practitioner lecturers with a percentage of feasibility of 92% is included in the very feasible category and the assessment of students with a percentage of eligibility of 96% is included in the very feasible category. Thus, this booklet can be used as a student learning resource and the quality of eligibility has met the criteria for a good booklet.
