Abstract

This quantitative study aims to determine the effect of service quality and library facilities on library anxiety. The research background is due to a decrease in the number of users at the UIN Sunan Kalijaga Library after the Covid 19 pandemic which has created a new habit for students to look for sources of scientific references. The research was conducted at the Library of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta with a sample of 100 users. Sampling was done by probability sampling technique. Data collection was carried out through the distribution of questionnaires. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics, data frequency distribution, correlation and regression analysis with the help of the SPSS application. Research variables include service quality (X1), library facilities (X2) and library anxiety (Y). The results of data analysis show that (1) Service quality has a significant effect on the level of library anxiety based on the significance of the simple regression F test 0.000 < 0.05 (2) Library facilities have a significant effect on the level of library anxiety based on the significance of the simple regression F test 0.000 < 0. 05 (3) Quality of service and library facilities simultaneously have a significant effect on library anxiety based on the significance of the multiple regression F test 0.000 < 0.05.
