Abstract

Increasingly, the use of the internet for human activities is also increasing. So there is a lot of valid and hoax information. One of the tasks of the library is to present a collection of library materials to users. The main task of the college library is to develop libraries in the form of collections, both print and digital collections. One of the digital collections held by the Ahmad Dahlan University Library (UAD) is digilib and UAD eprints. The UAD Library already has a Digital Library that provides e-books and e-journals. It aims to provide digital collections to provide reliable information to the academic community, especially to students. This study aims to: (1) determine the level of availability of digital collections in the UAD Library to support the information needs of PAI students. (2) Knowing the use of digital collections owned by the UAD Library in meeting the needs of PAI Student learning resources. The research method uses descriptive analytic by using the percentage of respondents' answers. This research is a quantitative research. The population in this study was 1346 PAI students. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling. The sample in this study were 93 students. The conclusions from this study are: (1) Variable X, that is, students already know a lot about the digital collection of the UAD Library. However, the UAD Library is still lacking in terms of disseminating collections. (2) Variable Y, that is, students are skilled in accessing digital collections owned by the UAD Library. But less use of digital collections for the needs of learning resources.
