Abstract

Writing this thesis aims to determine the analysis implementation of management principles in the management of the Gubuk Wungkal in Pengasih District Kulon Progo Regency. In this study, researchers used descriptive qualitative methods, the data collection process used the methods of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis in this study uses Miles Huberman’s theory, namely by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Test the validity of the data using a credibility test on the data from qualitative research, among others, carried out source triangulation and technical triangulation. The results showed that: 1) procedures that have been established by TBM Gubuk Wungkal in Pengasih District, Kulon Progo Regency, starting from planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling. As the vision, mission, goals, and procurement of facilities and infrastructure; 2) the implementation of TBM Gubuk Wungkal in Pengasih District, Kulon Progo Regency is adjusted to the results of observations and analyzes conducted by the management of TBM Gubuk Wungkal in Pengasih District Kulon Progo Regency; 3) the main obstacle faced by the management of TBM Gubuk Wungkal in Pengasih District Kulon Progo Regency is the lack of an operational budget and the lack of commitment of the TBM Gubuk Wungkal management; 4) the efforts made by TBM Gubuk Wungkal to overcome these obstacles are by approaching the village library and training for community reading garden managers. The results of the study, researchers recommend suggestions, namely the form of services that are already good enough, but still need to be improved and continue to innovate in programs to attract people to love reading and take advantage of existing community reading park services.
