Abstract

This research aims to analyze Work Stress and Organizational Climate on Organizational Commitment through Job Satisfaction as an Intervening Variable at BPRS HIK MCI Yogyakarta. The object of research is BPRS HIK MCI Yogyakarta. The research data used is primary data obtained from employees of BPRS HIK MCI Yogyakarta. The analytical tool used in the research is SmartPLS and Microsoft Excel. The data analysis technique used is Partial Least Square (PLS). The Work Stress variable has no significant effect on Organizational Commitment. The Organizational Climate variable has a positive effect on Organizational Commitment. The Work Stress variable has a positive effect on Job Satisfaction. The Organizational Climate variable has a positive effect on Job Satisfaction. The Job Satisfaction variable has no significant effect on Organizational Commitment. The Job Satisfaction variable cannot mediate between Work Stress and Organizational Commitment. The Job Satisfaction variable cannot mediate between Organizational Climate and Organizational Commitment. The leaders of BPRS HIK MCI need to pay attention and create new strategies for the levels of work stress and organizational climate on employees, in order to increase satisfaction in employees and foster a sense of commitment to the organization.
