Abstract

The discussion of entrepreneurship in this era of disruption has become a prima donna in various seminars and scientific studies. However, an in-depth study of entrepreneurship in the perspective of the thoughts of exegetes has not become a trending topic. Moreover, the response that resulted in the concept of entrepreneurship education taken from the thoughts of mufassir is needed to answer problems in the world of Islamic Education. This research was conducted to answer the formulation of the problem: First, How entrepreneurship according to Quraish Shihab tafsir al Misbah. Second, how entrepreneurship education and Quraish shihab's contribution in the field of Entrepreneurship Education. This literature research is carried out using a content analysis approach. The subject of this study is the thought of Quraish Shihab in the book of tafsir al mishbah more specifically in verses on human potential and commerce. Data collection techniques by searching, finding and analyzing Quraish Shihab's interpretive statements regarding a verse in tafsir al mishbah using theories of entrepreneurship, Human Potential and Education. The theories used in this dissertation research are fayyole and Kreigher's potential theory, DNA entrepreneur theory, educational theory, especially about quantum teaching, and Psychology. The result of this dissertation research is the idea of Quraish Shihab's thoughts on entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education. Quraish Shihab's thoughts about the potential of entrepreneurs in humans have actually existed since the time of his birth, namely the potential of the caliph, intelligence, shahwat, physical, intuition/inspiration. These five things become tools for humans to become entrepreneurs. While entrepreneurship in the thought of Quraish Shihab exegesis is a collaboration between tijarah and al fadl. Tijarah in the view of Quraish Shihab is used as a form of human creativity and innovation to achieve al fadl. Therefore, entrepreneurship education is based on the gift of basic human potential (fitrah) to develop entrepreneurial potential based on Islamic values.
