Abstract

The implementation of boarding school based institutional management is ththe activity of integrating pesantren education resources so that they are centralized to reach educational goals. The first fact is that the management implemented after the development and improvement carried out continuously both in the education sector departs from the challenges of community needs and changes in terms of management, curriculum, and pesantren facilities out of the traditional impression. Second, the lack of management of pesantren based madrasa education tends to be carried out by family me mbers. This research was conducted at MA NU Putra Buntet Pesantren Cirebon.The purpose of this study was to find out: 1 1) Why MA NU Putra Buntet Pesantren Cirebon uses pesantren based institutional management. 2 2) How the process of planning, organizing, implementing and supervising pesantren based institutional management. This research method is descriptive qualitative, data collection techniques of interviews, observation and documentation. the subject of this research is the head of the madrasa, the vice principal of the curriculum, teachers, and students, data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions, data validation of source and technical triangulation. The results of this research showed that: 1 1) The MA NU Putra Buntet Pesantren Cirebon uses the concept of pesantren based education management because it increases understanding in applying religious law related to habluminallah, hablumminannas, the formation of akhlakul karimah, and the madrasa traditions used are also pesantren based, such as learning nahu sarraf, kifayatul akhyar, 2 2) Identify the planning process of formulating goals and preparing activity programs; the organizing process is carried out jointly to achieve an educational institution's goals; the implementation process of a leader provides motivation and guidance and establishes a cooperative relationship; and the supervision process is carried out with great effort in carrying out serious steps in the quality level of learning in educational institutions.
