Abstract

This study discusses disaster management in the Library of SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta. This study aims to find out and describe the assistance that is applied in libraries in particular and schools. This research is a field research using descriptive qualitative method. To get information the author uses observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. The process of data analysis is carried out by reducing the data by analyzing and modifying it, then presenting it in the form of sentences that are easy to understand. The result of data collection in the field is that the Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta Vocational School Library has implemented countermeasures in dealing with natural disasters (earthquakes, fires, floods) and non-natural disasters (COVID 19 pandemic, vandalism). The author suggests that the Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta Vocational School Library has a special policy or disaster plan in written form.
