Abstract

This research contains Islamic librarian literature at SMK Negeri 2 Yogyakarta. The purpose of this study was to find out the Islamic librarian literature at SMK Negeri 2 Yogyakarta. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. The informants who were used as research subjects were librarians at SMK Negeri 2 Yogyakarta. The author conducted interviews whit (three) users who where selected as informants based on the saturated sample teachnique and tested the validity of the data using triangulation. Data collection menthods and techiques used include observation, interviews and documentation. The results of interviews with informanst were then analyzed using Sulistyo Basuki’s data analysis teachniques, namely data collection, data presentation and verification (drawing conslusions). From the results of interviews whit informants, the Islamic literature used by librarians is to become new knowledge or new khowledge for librarians to make it easier and understand about Islam. Then the benefits of Islamic literature can provide input to the librarians of SMK Negeri 2 Yogyakarta, providing new knowledge or insights for librarians of SMK Negeri 2 Yogyakarta.
