Abstract

One of Indonesia's biodiversity is the diversity of salak fruit types. This study aims to determine the inventory of salak varieties in the Turi Agrotourism area, Sleman, develop a booklet of salak plant inventory, and determine the feasibility of the products developed. This research is a type of RnD (Research and Development) research, exploratory descriptive method and development research method with 4D model (Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate). The results of the salak plant inventory research are 8 species consisting of salak bali, salak condet, salak gading, salak honey, salak manggala, salak pondoh black, salak pondoh yellow, and salak without thorns. The final result of this research is in the form of printed media in the form of a booklet of salak plant inventory. The product was assessed using an assessment instrument in the form of a checklist questionnaire sheet. The product was assessed by 1 material expert, 1 media expert, 5 peer reviewers, 1 biology teacher, and 15 responses from students of class X SMA Negeri 1 Turi. The data obtained were then analyzed descriptively qualitative and quantitative. The results of the booklet research on snake fruit plants by material experts received a percentage of 90% with a very good category, media experts 94% with a very good category, peer reviewers 93% with a very good category, biology teachers 88% very good and students 88.1% with a very good category. It can be concluded that the salak plant inventory booklet that has been developed is feasible to use.
