Abstract

This scientific article aims to analyze the comparative ability to generate profits between sharia funding and conventional funding in infrastructure companies listed on the IDX during the 2020-2022 period. This research took a sample of 4 infrastructure companies listed on the IDX. This research uses financial report data to investigate the impact of financing choices on company financial performance. The results of statistical tests show that sharia financing has a significant positive effect on profitability, conventional funding has a significant negative effect on profitability, sharia and conventional funding simultaneously have an effect on profitability, and finally, sharia funding is better at generating profits compared to conventional funding.
