Abstract

This study aims to determine how the implementation of knowledge sharing in an effort to improve the economy of the community around TBM Wijaya Kusuma. This is reviewed from the implementation of knowledge sharing that has been carried out by TBM Wijaya Kusuma in the financial literacy program which is realized through the activities of the Wijaya Kusuma Skills School (SKWK). The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with the research subjects of managers and members of TBM (Taman Bacaan Masyarakat) Wijaya Kusuma who are active in SKWK activities and the object of this research is knowledge sharing activities as an effort to improve the community's economy. Data collection in this study was carried out by means of interviews, observation and documentation. The technique of determining informants using purposive sampling. The data analysis technique uses the Milles and Huberman model, namely data reduction, presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study, it is known that the steps taken by TBM to support the improvement of the economy of the surrounding community: (1) recognize the community and its various needs; (2) socialize the importance of TBM; (3) form target groups based on needs; (4) organize useful activities; (5) build partnerships. TBM Wijaya Kusuma implements knowledge sharing activities by applying the SECI model which consists of Socialization, Externalization, Combination, Internalization. In implementing knowledge sharing activities, TBM Wijaya Kusuma has several obstacles, including there are still some members who do not have the awareness to share their knowledge and feel unable to become presenters, limited training venues, no special officers to document activities and process them.
