Abstract

This research will explore further the factors that influence the profitability of sharia banking. The object of this research is the ratio of Sharia Commercial Banks (BUS) and Sharia Business Units (UUS), taken as a whole from the Sharia Banking Statistics (SPS) report from 2017 to 2022 which is registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK). The number of observations used was 72 observations. The type of data used is time series data with data processing using SPSS 25 software. This research was analyzed using the multiple linear regression analysis method. The results of this research show that inflation has a negative and significant effect on the ROA of Islamic banking. BI-7DRRR, exchange rate and GDP have no effect on the ROA of Islamic banking. Meanwhile, SBSN has a positive and significant effect on the ROA of sharia banking.
