Abstract
This study aims to develop Augmented Reality (AR)-based biology handout on human digestive system material as a learning resource for grade XI SMA/MA students and determine the quality of Augmented Reality (AR)-based biology handout on human digestive system material. This research is an R&D (Research and Development) study using the 4D research model (Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate). The product in this study was assessed using an instrument in the form of a checklist questionnaire sheet. The product was assessed by 1 material expert, 1 media expert, 5 peer reviewers, 1 biology teacher, and 15 responses from students of class XI SMA N 10 Yogyakarta. The final result of this research is a printed handout with AR markers that can be scanned using a smartphone to access Augmented Reality (AR) on human digestive system material. The results of the product quality assessment that has been assessed by material experts got a percentage of ideality of 92%, media experts got a percentage of ideality of 86.7%, peer reviewers got a percentage of ideality of 94.7%, biology teachers got a percentage of ideality of 97.3%, and student responses got a percentage of ideality of 82.9%, all five got a percentage of ideality with a very good category. Based on the results of the product quality assessment, it can be concluded that the product is suitable for use as a biology learning resource for students in grade XI SMA/MA.
