Abstract

This research is motivated by the crucial problem faced by the world of 21st century education today, namely the weak learning process. In the learning process, students are less encouraged to develop aspects of thinking skills. In the classroom, students are only directed to memorize information, without trying to connect what they remember with their daily lives. As a result, students are only theoretically smart but poor in application and learning seems less massive. The objectives of this research are to 1) Analyze the skills of generation Z teachers in an effort to develop a pleasant learning atmosphere in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 in MI / SD 2) Combining the design of the Z generation teacher profile with digital methods in developing a pleasant learning atmosphere in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 in MI / SD 3) Explaining the role of Z generation teachers in efforts to develop a pleasant learning atmosphere in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 in MI / SD. Qualitative research type with a field study approach (field research), the data obtained in this study using three data collection techniques, namely in-depth interviews, observations and documentation studies. There are two kinds of data sources used in this research, consisting of primary data sources and secondary data sources. After obtaining data from the field, the next step is that the data is processed and processed through several data analysis techniques. The results of the study show that the pedagogical competence of generation z teachers at MIN 2 Brebes in developing technological capabilities, developing the potential of students, and communication in learning can be said to be optimal in accordance with the criteria listed in the Regulation of the Minister of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia No. 16 of 2007 concerning the competency standards of elementary / MI classroom teachers. This can be seen from; first, generation z teachers take an approach by utilizing technology and also positioning students as a probem solver; second, generation z teachers have been able to identify groups of students who are indicated by their experiences and potential abilities so that they can provide special handling for each different group; third, the ability of generation z teachers in developing communication skills has been able to create an interactive atmosphere. Thus, the learning practices of generation z teachers can be used as a reference in finding new breakthroughs
