Abstract
During the 2024 election campaign, social media is one of the most effective tools for conveying political messages and building branding for potential leaders. Inst agram, as one of the most popular social media platforms in Indonesia, has an important role in political branding. Political actors who want to be known by the public will need branding to introduce their vision to all levels of society. Branding of polit ical actors via social media is becoming increasingly popular, one of which can be done using taglines. This research aims to analyze the branding "Tuanku ya Rakyat, Jabatan Just Mandate" on Ganjar Pranowo's Instagram account using branding theory and Rola nd Barthes' semiotic approach. Roland Barthes' semiotic approach is used to analyze denotation, connotation and myths built through visual content on Ganjar Pranowo's Instagram account. This analysis includes identifying the symbols used in the post, as we ll as how these symbols build a narrative about Ganjar as a popular leader. Based on the results of semiotic analysis, this research produces meaning that shows Ganjar's direct interaction with the community, the use of simple and easy to understand langua ge, and local cultural symbols, effectively building Ganjar's branding as a potential leader who serves the people.
