Abstract

Research was conducted to find out how financial attitudes, subjective norms, and financial behavior impact the desire to invest in gold savings. Apart from that, this research added 2 variables, namely financial knowledge and financial socialization, with financial literacy as a mediating variable for Gen Z in DIY. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative with a sample size of 201 respondents. The results of hypothesis testing show that almost all variables have a positive but not significant effect, except for subjective norm variables and financial knowledge. There are two variables that have a negative value, namely the financial behavior variable and financial socialization which is mediated by the financial literacy variable on interest in investing in gold.
