Abstract

Slow company operations are usually caused by inefficient processes such as manual procedures, unsupportive company culture, inadequate resources and lack of external support. MSMEs need an integrated accounting information system for operational efficiency and good financial management for decision making. This research aims to understand the influence of organizational culture, company size and external support on the use of accounting information systems. The sample in this study was 414 MSME respondents in Sleman Regency who were determined using convienence sampling and purposive sampling techniques. The data used is primary data through distributing questionnaires and analyzed with Warp PLS 8.0. The results of this research indicate that organizational culture and external support have a positive effect on the use of accounting information systems, while company size has no effect on the use of accounting information systems.
