Abstract

Instagram is used as an online marketing communication medium in an effort to increase visitors, as is done by the Kids Fun Park Yogyakarta family tourist park. This tourist park is one of the oldest family tourist destinations in Yogyakarta and still exists today. This research aims to find out how Kids Fun Park Yogyakarta maximizes Instagram social media by creating an account with the username @kids_fun_yogyakarta. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative which applies the marketing communication mix theory by Kotler and Keller, namely advertising, sales promotion, personal selling, public relations and direct marketing as the unit of analysis. The results of this research are that Kids Fun Park Yogyakarta was successful in attracting visitors to come by utilizing Instagram by conducting marketing communications. Advertising is carried out by creating typical Kids Fun Park Yogyakarta content designs and utilizing Instagram Ads which are able to target Instagram users more specifically. Then sales promotions are carried out by providing information on ongoing discounts or promotions via posts on Instagram. Personal selling activities are carried out by interacting with followers and including a link in the Instagram bio to provide access to communication via other channels. Kids Fun Park Yogyakarta carries out public relations activities by collaborating with reposting Instagram posts from visitors and collaborating with influencers. Direct marketing is carried out by utilizing Instagram's direct message feature so that you can communicate directly with potential visitors.
