Abstract
The rapid development of technology and shifting consumer behavior have significantly impacted marketing communications within the punk rock music industry. Ensuring that produced music can be enjoyed by the public requires adequate infrastructure and marketing strategies. This study aims to discuss the marketing communication strategies of the Band Paku Ning Ratan in the punk rock music industry in Yogyakarta, specifically through the SOSTAC model. The primary goal of Paku Ning Ratan's marketing communications is to increase brand awareness and expand their fan base. The study demonstrates that effective marketing communication strategies can enhance brand awareness and grow the fan base through social media. Paku Ning Ratan Yogyakarta is beginning to stand out in the local punk rock music industry with a strong unique identity and a loyal fan community. Their distinct identity is a crucial asset in differentiating themselves from other bands. By focusing on brand recognition and fan base expansion through social media, they have set relevant goals in line with technological advancements and audience behavior. Their strategy centers on differentiation and creating a strong band image, utilizing original content to engage fans. Creative social media activities and local band collaborations broaden their reach and strengthen the punk rock community. Continuous evaluation through fan feedback, social media analysis, and merchandise sales ensures they can adjust their strategies, fostering long-term success.
