Abstract
This research is based on the results of initial observations carried out at the 'Aisyiyah Al-Iman Integrated PAUD which shows that Arabic language learning methods have not been developed optimally. Developing a foreign language at an early age will make it easier for children to learn foreign languages in adulthood. This research aims to develop "A Flash Card" media to help teachers introduce Arabic vocabulary. This research method uses a type of development research ( Research and Development) using the ADDIE development model which consists of stages (1) Analysis, stages of analyzing product development that can improve children's Arabic proficiency . (2) Design, the process of designing "A Flash Card" media . (3) Development, carrying out product revisions based on product designs that have been assessed and validated by material experts and media experts. (4) Implementation, testing products that have been revised and developed on research subjects. (5) Evaluation, the activity of evaluating each step taken and testing how effectively the media is used. The total number of research subjects was 24 children aged 5-6 years at 'Aisyiyah Al-Iman Integrated PAUD, Baciro, Gondokusuman, Yogyakarta. The results of the development of "A Flash Card" as a medium for Arabic language learning received a feasibility score from media experts of 94.53% in the very feasible category and material experts obtained a feasibility score of 86.80% in the very feasible category. Meanwhile, the teacher's practicality score was 92.85% in the very practical category. The use of "A Flash Card" media can help introduce Arabic language skills to children. This is proven by media effectiveness trials which received a score of 79% > 76 with effective interpretation.
