Abstract

Technology-based applications are crucial in this digital era. As apps continue to evolve, they assist with various daily activities. One such application is Shopee Food Driver. To ensure this application meets the needs of its users, usability testing is necessary. Therefore, researchers are interested in exploring this topic to evaluate the level of user satisfaction with the Shopee Food Driver application and to identify which features need improvement and further development. This research employs a quantitative approach and descriptive statistics. Data were collected through a survey containing a System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire, which was distributed to 96 Shopee Food Driver respondents in the Yogyakarta area. The data were then processed using the SUS method. This method includes 10 question indicators tailored to the needs of this study, along with two additional questions aimed at gathering recommendations for application improvements. The results of the study indicate that the Shopee Food Driver application received a SUS score of 61,8. placing it in the “Good” category. The study also provides recommendations for developers to focus on enhancing the application's algorithms and systems, as well as key features such as maps and the rating system. Additionally, ongoing maintenance is necessary for well-performing features to ensure that application performance does not decline in the future. These improvements are expected to enhance the overall performance of the application and make it easier for driver partners to carry out their tasks.
