Abstract
Computational thinking skills possessed by students are still not optimal, which has an impact on the ability to solve complex problems in the 21st century. This study aims to determine the characteristics, quality, student responses, and effectiveness of the website for temperature and heat integrated with indigenous knowledge keris (Suka-keris website) to improve computational thinking skills. This research is an R&D research by following the steps of Brog & Gall which are limited to operational product revision. The research instruments are in the form of instrument validation sheets, product validation and assessment sheets, student response questionnaires, and computational thinking questions on temperature and heat material. Analysis of the instrument validation sheet using V Aiken. Analysis of the validation sheet, product assessment, and student response questionnaire using the average score. Analysis of website effectiveness using N-Gain and effect size. The results of this study are the Suka-keris website integrated with indigenous knowledge of keris with interactive content and easy to use (user friendly) via smartphone or laptop. The Suka-keris website has very good quality (SB) from expert and educator assessments with average scores of 3.9 and 3.6 respectively. The results of student responses show the criteria of agreeing with an average score of 0.94. The Suka-keris website is effective in improving computational thinking skills with an N-Gain value of 0.41 in the medium category and an effect size value of 2.83 in the high category. Thus, the Suka keris website is worthy as a learning resource to improve computational thinking skills.
