Abstract
This study was motivated by the low utilization of learning media in the classroom, especially in learning Pancasila education at Sorogenen 1 State Elementary School. Observations and interviews conducted showed that monotonous learning resulted in less active and less interested students. Therefore, this study developed learning media in the form of spinning wheels assisted by wordwall to support learning and increase students' interest and learning activeness. The objectives of this research are: (1) describe the procedure for developing spinning wheel media assisted by wordwall, (2) determine the feasibility level of this media, (3) evaluate the level of practicality, and (4) measure its effectiveness in increasing students' interest and learning activeness in learning Pancasila education class 3 in elementary school. The media development model uses the ADDIE research and development (R&D) model which produces a product in the form of spinning wheel media, consisting of a digital rotary board, interactive learning materials, and quizzes. The results of expert validation show that this media is very feasible to use, with an average validation of 93%, which includes the assessment of media experts (96%), material experts (96%), and learning experts (86%). In addition, the results of the practicality test based on students' responses obtained a score of 92%, which indicates that this media is very practical to use. The effectiveness of the media was also tested using N-gain analysis. The results showed an increase in learning interest in the high category (>0.7), namely 27 students and the medium category (<0.3), namely 3 students while learning activeness, 24 students were in the high category and 6 students in the medium category, there were no students in the low category. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that spinning wheel learning media assisted by wordwall is very feasible, practical, and effective in increasing students' interest and learning activeness in learning Pancasila education in grade 3 elementary school. This media is expected to be an innovative alternative to improve the quality of learning in elementary schools.
