Abstract
The thesis’s goal is to investigate the determinants influencing consumer purchase intentions for halal coffee products produced by small and medium enterprises (SMEs), with an emphasis on halal certification, product quality, and pricing strategies. The growing awareness among Muslim consumers regarding the significance of halal compliance has posed substantial challenges for the coffee SME sector in North Lombok Regency to adhere to rigorous halal standards. This study adopts a quantitative research methodology utilizing a survey approach. Data were collected from 100 respondents residing in Santong Village, North Lombok, through a structured questionnaire. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques, employing SPSS 28. The findings reveal that halal certification and product quality exert a statistically significant positive influence on purchase intentions, whereas price demonstrates a negative effect. Trust in halal certification serves as a critical factor in strengthening consumer confidence, while high product quality fosters customer satisfaction and loyalty. In contrast, elevated price perceptions can act as a deterrent to purchase intentions. These insights underscore the necessity for coffee SMEs in North Lombok to prioritize halal certification as a trust-building mechanism, enhance product quality to meet consumer expectations, and implement competitive pricing strategies to capture and sustain market interest. The study contributes to the academic discourse on consumer behavior in halal markets and provides actionable recommendations for SMEs operating within the growing halal economy
