Abstract

Economic growth is the most important part of economic policy in any country or economic system. This study aims to analyze the effect of poverty, health, education, gender equality and decent work on economic growth in Indonesia with Democracy as a moderating variable during the 2019-2023 period. This study uses panel data regression with the selected model being the fixed effect model. The findings of the analysis explain that education and Gender Equality have a significant positive impact on economic growth. Then Poverty shows a significant negative impact on economic growth. Meanwhile, health and decent work have no effect on economic growth. Then for moderation analysis, democracy is able to moderate the intermediate impact between related variables on economic growth, except for health.
