Abstract
Digital wallets are one of the technological innovations that enable financial transactions to be conducted quickly and conveniently. LinkAja Syariah, as the first Sharia-based e-wallet and supported by various institutions, presents an intriguing phenomenon to study. This research aims to identify the factors influencing the behavioral intention to use LinkAja Syariah, thereby increasing the number of users of Sharia-based e-wallets. The Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) is considered an appropriate framework for explaining the factors affecting technology adoption. This study incorporates self-efficacy, which reflects students' personal confidence, as well as behavioral intention as a mediating factor in determining actual usage behavior. The research employs a quantitative descriptive analysis using the SEM-PLS 3 analytical technique. The results indicate that self-efficacy and hedonic motivation significantly influence the intention to use the e-wallet. Meanwhile, facilitating conditions, habit, and behavioral intention are key factors affecting actual usage behavior. Additionally, performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and social influence positively impact students' behavior through the mediation of behavioral intention in using LinkAja Syariah.
