Abstract
Many political actors are competing to shape their image in order to be elected president. Instagram social media was chosen as a platform that is quite popular among the public for carrying out collaborative activities. Prabowo is one of the political actors who uses the social media Instagram to change his image, which was previously known as firm and authoritative, into a better and more relaxed person, so he needs a creative strategy in uploading his posts. This research aims to find out how Personal Branding is carried out by Prabowo Subianto on Instagram. The method used is qualitative research with content analysis. The research results show that there is a change in self-image which is influenced by eight indicators of personal branding on Prabowo's Instagram. According to Peter Montoya, the eight indicators consist of specialization, leadership, personality, difference, visibility, unity, determination and good name which are interrelated. So Prabowo's personal branding was created on the Instagram account @prabowo which became a medium for forming a self-image
