Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of library staff as educators and what efforts are made in user education services at Ganesha Library SMA N 1 Jetis Bantul. This research method uses descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach. The sample technique used purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Test data credibility using triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of this study indicate that library personnel as educators in user education services at Ganesha SMA N 1 Jetis Bantul are very important in the library because library personnel will provide education, teaching, and training related to information literacy, information search, and knowledge about library facilities and services.
