Abstract

Alpha Learn is a solution to address the inequality of educational access in Indonesia, particularly for students preparing for the National Science Olympiad (OSN). By utilizing a mobile application model, Alpha Learn provides easy access to learning materials for students. This platform offers comprehensive features such as structured learning packages, tryouts, AI-based personalized recommendations, and direct mentoring sessions to build an effective learning ecosystem that optimizes students' preparation for OSN. The business development of Alpha Learn adopts a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis approach to identify the internal and external factors influencing the business. Alpha Learn applies four business models: Pay for Use, Premium, Online Course, and Free. To measure financial feasibility, several methods are implemented, including Break Even Point (BEP), Return on Investment (ROI), Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Payback Period (PP). The analysis results indicate that Alpha Learn is feasible to develop, with BEP achieved in the fourth year, positive annual and cumulative ROI trends, positive NPV, IRR exceeding the discount rate, and a relatively fast payback period. Alpha Learn is expected to be a sustainable business solution that promotes equitable access to quality education.
