Abstract
This study examines how the short video content creator Abiazkakiaa on TikTok represents Islamic values. According to his account, Abiazkakiaa displays video content of the game Mobile Legends, representing Islamic values. With the advancement of the digital era, the delivery of Islamic da'wah (Islamic preaching) is no longer limited to conventional methods. Still, it can be done by following current social media developments. This study aims to explain the process of reconstructing Islamic values conveyed by Abiazkakiaa through the Mobile Legend game on the TikTok platform. The research method used in this study is a qualitative approach with content analysis. The subjects in this study were short video content about the Mobile Legends game on Abiazkakiaa's TikTok account. Data collection techniques used were documentation. The analysis of three short video content pieces, using a Ferdinand De Saussure’s semiotic analysis and representation analysis, revealed contextual and engaging representations of Islamic values within popular digital culture. Representation of religious values, which strengthen spiritual understanding and faith; representation of Sharia values, which emphasize guidance for living in contemporary situations; and representation of moral values, which are a response to a digital social reality that is permissive of negative behaviour.
