Abstract
This study aims to determine the influence of islamic financial literacy, promotion, and peer influence on the savings decisions of students at Muhammadiyah 1 Prambanan Yogyakarta Junior High Scholl in choosing Smart Savings at PT. Bank Perekonomian Rakyat Syariah Harta Insan Karimah Mitra Cahaya Indonesia (BPRS HIK MCI) Yogyakarta. This type of research is quantitative with a sample of 100 respondents selected using a non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling. Data collection wa carried out through questionnaires, then analyzed using multiple linear regression. The result showed taht islamic financial literacy and peers had a positive effect on student’s savings decisions. However, promotion did not have a significant effect on students’ savings decisions. The coefficients of determination (R Square) value of 0,772 indicates that 77,2% of the variation in savings decisions can be explained by the three independet variables, while the remaining 22,8% is influenced by other factors outside this study.
