Abstract

This research aims to find out how users perception of library facilities at the Yogyakarta State University Library. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. Data collection methods in this research used questionnaires, observation and documentation. The population in this study was 42,876 readers and the sample in this study was 100 respondents. The sampling technique in this research uses a non-probability sampling technique, namely using an incidental sampling technique. The validity test in this research uses the product moment formula, while the reliability test uses the Cronbach's Alpha formula. The data analysis method in this research uses mean and grandmean. The results of this research show that user's perception of library furniture and equipment is very good with a value of 3.31, user’s perception of library land is very good with a value of 3.47, user’s perception of the library building is very good with a value of 3.31, user's perception of the library space is very good with a score of 3.37. The overall variable value obtained was an average of 3.36, which means that the user's perception of library facilities at the Yogyakarta State University Library UPT is categorized as very good but with a low value because there are two sub-variables with equally low values when compared to other sub-variables.
