Abstract

In the Txtmlbb community, discussions, debates, and tweet wars often occur, especially when discussing games or tournaments involving certain players or teams. Trash talking often takes the form of insults about playing ability, social status in the game, or personal sarcasm about certain characteristics, such as the use of profanity, mockery of playing skills, and personal insults aimed at provoking or embarrassing opponents in debates. Twitwars in this community not only illustrate differences of opinion, but also reflect how community identity and culture are formed through online interaction. On the one hand, twitwars can create a space for advocacy and support among members, but on the other hand, they can also potentially lead to harmful toxic behavior. Computer Mediated Communication (CMC) is any form of communication between individuals or between individuals and groups who interact with each other via computers on an internet network. Based on research, there are seven types of trash talking in the content studied. First, the use of animal names such as dog as an expletive. Second, the word kontol, which refers to the male genital organ. Third, there are adjectives such as bego, tolol, goblok, idiot. Fourth, nouns such as tai. Fifth, the verb “fuck,” which is a crude term for sexual intercourse. Sixth, the word “slut,” which refers to a person's condition, and seventh, negative professions such as “bastard.”
