Abstract

This study aims to determine User Perceptions on the Quality Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) SIPRUS Software in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Yogyakarta II Library. This research is descriptive quantitative survey approach. Data collection methods used in this study is the method of questionnaires, interviews, observation, and documentation. Sampling technique using a stratified sampling method, with a total sample of respondents 87. This study used a single variable, namely the quality of the OPAC SIPRUS software in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Yogyakarta II library. Measurement user responses by measuring the quality of software products as stated by Mc Call the truth (correctness), Reliability (Reliability), Efficiency (Efficiency), Integrity (Intergrity), and Usability (Usability). Analysis of the data was calculated using using Arithmetic Mean. The results of this study indicate that students 'perception of quality in the OPAC SIPRUS software in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Yogyakarta II library according to the total value of the average is 3.22 so that it can be interpreted students' perception of quality in the OPAC SIPRUS software Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Yogyakarta II Library quite well. The advice given is the attention and evaluation of all aspects, and color information contained in the OPAC display that will be better, the addition of OPAC computer facilities, addition of facilities internet service and also expected to meet the needs of students in terms of access to information Keywords: Perception, Quality OPAC, OPAC
