Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of triple roles conflict, husband’s support, career development, and salary on the performance of female employees in Islamic banking institutions in Yogyakarta. The research problem arises from the challenges of multiple roles experienced by working women, as well as the importance of family support, career opportunities, and adequate compensation in improving work performance. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method with 34 respondents from Bank BTN Syariah Yogyakarta Branch, BPR Syariah Madina Mandiri Sejahtera Yogyakarta, and BPRS Bangun Drajat Warga. Data analysis was carried out using SEM-PLS. The results indicate that triple roles conflict has no significant effect on female employees’ performance, suggesting that most respondents were able to manage multiple roles without diminishing their productivity. Similarly, husband’s support does not significantly influence performance, although most respondents acknowledged receiving strong support. In contrast, career development has a significant positive effect on performance, emphasizing the importance of training, competence improvement, and promotion opportunities in enhancing work outcomes. Furthermore, salary was also found to have a significant positive effect, where adequate compensation motivates and improves the productivity of female employees. Overall, this study highlights that internal organizational factors, such as career development and salary, play a more decisive role in determining female employees’ performance than external factors, such as role conflict and spousal support. These findings provide managerial implications for Islamic banking institutions in formulating employee performance enhancement strategies through effective career development programs and fair compensation policies.
