Abstract

The research aims to find out how the implementation of digital library creiteria according to Lucy. A Tedd and Andrew Large in the Daarus Saqofah Digital Librray at MTs N 3 Sleman. The theory that used in this research is the digital library criteria according to Lucy A. Tedd and Andrew Large. This research uses the digital library criteria according to Lucy A. Tedd and Andrew Large to analyse the Daarus Saqofah Digital Library. This research uses qualitative research methods with a case study approach. Data collection techniques used interviews, observation, and documentation. The research uses credibility test and dependability test as data validity test. The data analysist technique used in this research is the data analysist according to Miles and Huberman, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, dan conclusion drawing. The result of the study state that of the six digital library criteria according Lucy A. Tedd and Andrew Large, only four criteria that filled by Daarus Saqofah Digital Library. Two criteria that have not fill by Daarus Saqofah Library are criteria regarding cooperation between libraries or other organizations engaged in field of information, and criteria regarding the stability of digital collections. Although most of the digital library criteria proposed by Lucy A. Tedd and Andrew Large have been fulfilled, Daarus Saqofah Library cannot be said to be digital library by Lucy A. Tedd and Andrew Large, because Daarus Saqofah has not been able to fulfill all digital library criteria. The suggestions of Daarus Saqofah Digital Library is the need to collaborate with other libraries or information organizations to improve the existence and quality of library services. Daarus Saqofah Library also needs to preserve digital collections, so that digital collections can be accessed in the long term.
