Abstract

The development of information technology today greatly assists various human activities, including in the field of education. One of its uses is in the process of processing student grades in schools. At SMK Nurul Iman Sewon, the process of processing grades is still done using Microsoft Excel and report cards are still distributed in printed form. This makes the data processing process takes quite a long time and the delivery of grade information to students is less effective. This study aims to design and build a web-based E-Raport system that can help teachers manage student grades more effectively and efficiently. This system was developed using the Extreme Programming (XP) method because this method is flexible and easily adapted to user needs. In the development process, the system was built using the Laravel Framework, the PHP programming language, and the MySQL database. The results of testing using black-box testing and user acceptance tests on the created system indicate that the system is acceptable and feasible for use by users. The result of this study is a webbased E-Raport application that can assist the process of inputting, processing, storing, and delivering student grade information more quickly and in a structured manner. This system is expected to facilitate teachers in managing grades and increase the effectiveness of academic data processing at SMK Nurul Iman Sewon.
