Abstract
Internalization of Islamic religious values is a process of instilling values aimed at developing children's understanding, appreciation, and practice of religious values in their daily lives. In early childhood education, this process is essential as it serves as the foundation for the development of religious character. However, observable religious behavior does not necessarily indicate a deep internalization of religious values. This study aims to analyze the process of internalizing Islamic religious values, the reasons for using specific learning strategies and approaches, and their implications for the development of children's religious character at TK ABA As-Salam. The research employed a qualitative method with a case study approach. The data sources consisted of early childhood students, teachers, and parents at TK ABA As-Salam. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings indicate that the internalization of Islamic religious values is carried out through learning activities, habituation, role modeling, and direct experiences in a continuous manner. This process is supported by learning strategies and approaches that are aligned with the developmental characteristics of early childhood learners. Its implications are reflected in the development of children's religious character in the aspects of faith (aqidah), worship (ibadah), and morality (akhlaq). The findings also reveal that the success of value internalization is influenced not only by learning activities at school but also by consistent habituation, exemplary role models, and support from the family and social environment.
