Abstract

Economic development is a planned effort to improve welfare through the growth of goods and services production. Java Island, as the driving force of the national economy, contributes the highest GRDP in Indonesia (averaging above 57%), but its growth dynamics continue to fluctuate. iThis study aims to analyze the influence of education level, workforce, minimum wage, and inflation on economic growth in Java. Using data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and a Fixed Effect (FEM) regression model, this study of six provinces in Java concludes that the variables of education, workforce, and minimum wage contribute positively to economic growth in Java. Furthermore, the inflation variable has no effect on economic growth in Java.
