Abstract

This study aims to analyze the user acceptance of SuperApp BYOND by BSI using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) approach among Generation Z in the Special Region of Yogyakarta and Central Java. This study is motivated by the development of digitalization of Islamic banking and the increasing use of digital services among the younger generation. The variables used in this study include Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, Attitude Toward Using, Behavioral Intention to Use, and Actual System Use. The research method used is a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through distributing questionnaires to Generation Z respondents who use BYOND by BSI. The research respondents numbered 268 people who are BYOND by BSI users and are included in the Generation Z category. Data analysis was carried out using the Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The results of the study show that all relationships between variables in the TAM model have a positive and significant effect. These findings indicate that the app's ease of use and usefulness are key factors driving the acceptance and continued use of BYOND by BSI among Generation Z.
