Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of digital overload and perceived organizational support on employee performance with technostress as a mediating variable in Islamic Banks across South Kalimantan. This quantitative research sampled 114 employees using purposive sampling. Data analysis utilized PLS-SEM. Results indicate that perceived organizational support has a dominant positive effect on employee performance, while digital overload significantly triggers technostress. However, both digital overload and technostress have no direct impact on reducing performance. Furthermore, technostress does not mediate the relationships. Conclusively, organizational support determines employee performance more than the pressure from digital technology.
