Abstract
This research was motivated by the low level of student learning interest, which consequently led to a decline in student learning outcomes, particularly in epithelial tissue material. This study aimed to improve student’s learning interest and learning outcomes trough the implementation of Quizizz. The type of research employed was Classroom Action Research (CAR), conducted in three cycle at MAN 2 Bantul. The research data were collected using observation sheets, test questions, and questionnaires. The result indicated that the progressive use of Quizizz learning media was able to enhance student’s learning interest and learning outcomes in each cycle. The average percentage of student’s learning interest experienced an increase, reaching 67% (good category) incycle I, 68% (goodcategory) in cycle II, and reaching 74% (good category) in cycle III. In line with these, the percentage of studentlearning completeness also showed a significant increase, starting from 34% in cycle I, increasing to 47% (large effect) in cycle II, and reaching 72% (medium effect) in cycle III. Based on these research results, it can be concluded that the implementation of Quizizz learning media is effective in improving student’s learning interest and learning outcomes in epithelial tissue material at MAN 2 Bantul.
