Abstract
Web form filling in user interface testing is still frequently conducted manually by developers and Quality Assurance (QA) Engineers, making it time-consuming and prone to human error. Existing browser extensions for automated form filling generally rely on generic test data and lack specific support for Indonesian administrative terminology and data formats. This study aims to design and develop Fill It, a Manifest V3-based browser extension utilizing a heuristic approach to detect form fields and generate Indonesian administrative test data. Developed using Extreme Programming (XP) across three iterations, the system includes the Identity Profile Tab, Form Scanner Tab, and supporting features such as Record Session, data export, Safe Mode, and Auto-Submit. Evaluation was carried out using Black-box Testing and the System Usability Scale (SUS). Testing results demonstrate that all acceptance test criteria across the three iterations were successfully fulfilled, including field detection, data input, and injection mechanisms on React.js and Vue.js-based test pages. The SUS evaluation involving 30 respondents yielded an average score of 75, corresponding to Grade B, an Adjective Rating of Good, and an Acceptability Range of Acceptable. These findings indicate that Fill It possesses good usability and is well-accepted by users.
