Abstract

The Halal Product Process Assistance Institution (LP3H) of UIN Sunan Kalijaga faces obstacles in manual correspondence administration, causing numbering inconsistencies and difficulties in archive tracking. This research aims to design and build a web-based Halal Assistant Auto-Mail Information System to automate these processes. The system development utilizes the Prototype method, involving users iteratively. Built using the Laravel framework and PostgreSQL database, the system features automatic mail generation, standardized numbering, mass data import, and barcode-based digital signatures. Black Box testing results indicate that all system functionalities are fully valid. Time efficiency testing proves that the system cuts document processing time from 5 minutes (300 seconds) to 80 seconds per document. This yields an operational efficiency increase of 73.33%. The implementation of this system successfully accelerates bureaucratic services, minimizes human errors, and strengthens the accountability of archive management at LP3H.
